We’re Dan and Seung Hee Phillips, co-founders of The Hee House.
During the pandemic, we saw how many students were struggling to keep up with school and how families needed extra support. Together, we created The Hee House to provide personalized tutoring that not only fills learning gaps, but also builds confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
The name comes from the Korean word “희 (Hee)”, which means light. My mission is to be that light for students and families—guiding them toward understanding, growth, and success in their educational journey.
